Human Resources Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Human Resources Officer to join our growing team at Openhill Global. The role focuses on staff onboarding, document collection, interview scheduling and maintaining accurate employee files in a fast‑paced, remote‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening and interview coordination.
• Support new employee onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
• Handle payroll coordination, benefits administration and compensation matters.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives and support performance management processes.
• Track and document staff onboarding documents to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of proven HR management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws and labor regulations in Nigeria (experience with Ghana laws a plus).
• Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
