Human Resources Personnel – Full‑Time (Ibadan)

About the role

Our client in the publishing sector is looking for a proactive Human Resources Personnel to manage day‑to‑day HR functions and step in as the primary HR contact when needed. This full‑time position is based on the Ring Road in Ibadan and offers a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and selection, from job posting to onboarding.
• Maintain employee records, HR databases and personnel files.
• Support employee engagement, welfare and performance management initiatives.
• Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations matters confidentially and professionally.
• Coordinate staff training, development and performance appraisal processes.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management.
• Manage leave administration, attendance tracking and related documentation.
• Support disciplinary and grievance procedures as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and employee relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and strong organisational, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
