Human Resources Manager – Mining & Lithium Processing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR activities at our mining site and lithium processing factory in Nigeria. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Nigerian labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for both sites.
• Oversee employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
• Coordinate payroll, compensation, benefits, and overall HR administration.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, health and safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Support employee welfare, training programmes, and talent development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and workforce analytics.
• Partner with site leadership to drive productivity and a positive work environment.
• Manage relationships with employees, contractors, unions, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, mining or other industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Nasarawa or Kebbi State.
