About the role
We are looking for a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Administrator to manage and maintain employee data within our HR platforms. The role supports HR, payroll and recruitment processes while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records in the HRIS.
- Manage onboarding, transfers, promotions, leave, and exit records.
- Input, update, and verify employee information ensuring data accuracy.
- Generate HR reports on headcount, attendance, leave, turnover, and employee information.
- Support payroll preparation with accurate employee and attendance data.
- Monitor attendance, leave, and other HR‑related information through the system.
- Assist employees and managers with HRIS queries and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information.
- Support recruitment and onboarding by updating candidate and employee data.
- Assist with performance management, training, and employee engagement via the HRIS.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and HRIS issues promptly.
- Liaise with HR, IT, payroll, and other departments to ensure smooth HRIS operations.
- Support HR audits and ensure compliance with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Contribute to improving HR administrative processes through effective use of HR technology.
Required profile
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Information Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, HRIS, or a similar HR role.
- Practical experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Zoho People, or similar.
- Good knowledge of employee records management and HR administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent data entry, analytical, and reporting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR compliance is an advantage.
- CIPM certification is a plus.
