Human Resources & Admin Officer

About the role

Bemil Nigeria Limited is seeking a dedicated Human Resources & Admin Officer to support its security management operations in Port Harcourt. The role involves managing the full HR lifecycle and ensuring smooth administrative processes within a fast‑growing indigenous company.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment & selection: manage end‑to‑end hiring, especially for security personnel, from advertising to onboarding.
• Performance & training: conduct staff training, job evaluations, performance assessments and maintain accurate staff records.
• Payroll & compensation: administer payroll, monitor attendance and punctuality, and manage staff benefits in compliance with labour laws.
• Employee relations: promote a positive workplace culture, handle staff welfare issues and resolve disputes.
• Office administration: ensure compliance with company policies and oversee general administrative tasks.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in HR or administration, preferably within security or similar sectors.
• Relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPMN, SHRM) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).

• Competitive salary between NGN 180,000 and NGN 200,000 per month.
