HR Executive – Talent Acquisition & Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Executive to oversee recruitment, HR operations, payroll and statutory compliance for our fast‑moving consumer goods business in Ibadan. The role will partner with department heads to ensure talent needs are met and HR processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, from job description creation to onboarding.
• Source candidates via job portals, agencies and professional networks; screen CVs and conduct initial interviews.
• Coordinate offer negotiations, background checks and joining formalities.
• Maintain accurate employee records, prepare contracts, letters and other HR documentation.
• Oversee employee onboarding, probation, promotions, transfers and exit processes.
• Handle attendance, leave, overtime, payroll inputs and HR databases.
• Prepare regular HR reports and MIS for management.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with Finance, verify deductions, allowances and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, maintain statutory documentation and liaise with government authorities.
• Address employee relations issues, grievances, disciplinary matters and conduct exit interviews.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in recruitment, HR operations, payroll administration and employee relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
