About the role
We are looking for an HR & Executive Support Officer to manage the full spectrum of human‑resources activities while providing high‑level administrative assistance to senior executives. The role combines recruitment, employee relations, payroll processing and compliance with day‑to‑day executive support.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: job posting, screening, interview coordination and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
- Administer attendance, leave and absence tracking.
- Support implementation of HR policies, employee handbook and company procedures.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and keep appraisal records.
- Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievance handling and conflict resolution.
- Process monthly payroll inputs, PAYE calculations, pension deductions and HMO enrolments in partnership with finance.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law, ITF, NSITF and pension regulations.
- Drive staff engagement, welfare programmes and internal communications.
- Maintain organisational chart and assist workforce planning.
- Manage the executive’s calendar, schedule meetings, travel arrangements and prepare presentations, briefing notes and agendas.
- Take minutes at management meetings, track action items and follow up across departments.
- Handle confidential information and communications with discretion.
- Coordinate logistics for company events, staff activities and external engagements.
Required profile
- B.Sc. in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field.
- Professional HR membership or certification (CIPM, SHRM or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Minimum three years of HR experience with exposure to executive or administrative support.
- Experience in a small‑to‑mid‑sized business environment.
- Proven ability to manage full recruitment cycles and employee‑relations matters independently.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law, PAYE administration, pension regulation and HR compliance.
