About the role
We are seeking a motivated HR Assistant to support our Abuja branch operations from our Delta office. You will work closely with the Head Office HR team to ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, and employee administration while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities for the Abuja branch as directed by Head Office HR.
- Maintain accurate staff records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and employee exits in line with approvals.
- Track attendance and provide payroll inputs for the branch.
- Liaise with branch management on HR matters and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support disciplinary documentation and escalation processes.
- Prepare and submit regular HR reports to the General HR Manager.
- Perform other HR administrative duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Minimum 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience.
- OND/HND/BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with HRIS or HR software
