HR & Admin Coordinator

About the role

JC International, a provider of asset integrity assurance and training services for the energy and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced HR / Admin Coordinator to manage human‑resource workflows, workplace administration and compliance in its Port Harcourt office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: job postings, screening, interview coordination, reference checks and new‑hire orientation.
• Oversee employee lifecycle activities including contract renewals, probation reviews, performance appraisals, leave and attendance tracking, and personnel file maintenance.
• Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, track training schedules and maintain training metrics.
• Provide employee‑relations support, guide staff on internal policies, handle grievance and disciplinary procedures, and ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws.
• Administer office facilities, vendor contracts, travel and accommodation logistics, fleet management and general administrative support.
• Prepare periodic HR analytics and workforce reports for executive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR and general administrative experience in a structured corporate environment.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.
• In‑depth knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and modern HR best practices.
