Hospital Quality Assurance Officer (Governance & Compliance)

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Lagos, is looking for a proactive Hospital Quality Assurance Officer to drive governance, compliance and continuous improvement of the hospital’s Quality Management System. The role will ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015, SafeCare standards and infection prevention protocols while supporting patient safety and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the hospital Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and execute the Annual Quality Improvement (QI) Plan.
• Collect, analyse and report departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage incident reporting, risk management database and oversee CAPA implementation.
• Support Root Cause Analysis investigations and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain document control, version‑controlled policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Assist internal audits and external accreditation exercises (ISO 9001:2015, SafeCare, etc.).
• Conduct infection prevention and control audits, hand‑hygiene observations and compile surveillance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in Healthcare Quality Assurance, Clinical Governance or Regulatory Compliance.
• Proven ability to work with ISO 9001:2015 and SafeCare standards.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI monitoring and risk mitigation.

What we offer

• Competitive net monthly salary ranging from ₦350,000 to ₦500,000 (negotiable based on experience).
