HIFU Medical Officer – Women’s Health

About the role

The HIFU Medical Officer – Women’s Health will deliver specialized clinical care for patients undergoing High‑Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) procedures, focusing on gynecological and women’s health conditions. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, explain treatment options and obtain informed consent.
• Perform or assist with HIFU procedures and monitor patient responses.
• Manage peri‑procedural care, post‑procedure follow‑up, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a valid license to practice.
• 3+ years post‑NYSC clinical experience, preferably in women’s health, gynecology or related specialties.
• Hands‑on experience or training in surgery or procedural medicine.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate clinical decisions clearly.
