About the role
The Health Manager will support the Chief of Health and HIV in overseeing UNICEF's Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) portfolio in Nigeria. The role involves leading the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of MNCAH outputs to achieve sustainable health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and plan MNCAH programmes in line with UNICEF strategies.
- Manage programme delivery, monitor progress and ensure results are achieved.
- Provide advisory services and technical support to country teams.
- Advocate for health priorities, build partnerships and network with stakeholders.
- Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building initiatives.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in public health, pediatric health, obstetrics and gynecology, epidemiology, health policy, or a related field.
- Minimum eight years of professional experience in public health, maternal‑child health, or related areas.
