Health Communications Lead

About the role

Glome Health is seeking a Health Communications Lead to own the creation and delivery of patient education and public‑facing communications. Based in Lagos and working in a hybrid model, you will ensure that all health content is medically accurate, clear, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create patient education materials such as guides, booklets, leaflets, and videos to support safe home dialysis.
• Manage external communication channels including the website, blog, and social media to tell the Glome Health story.
• Translate clinical and product information into understandable content for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with clinical and product teams to verify medical accuracy and regulatory compliance of all materials.
• Support training initiatives with hospital partners and incorporate feedback from patients and clinicians to continuously improve content.

Required profile

• Proven ability to turn complex health information into clear, trustworthy content (samples required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, from newly diagnosed patients to nephrologists.
• Empathy and sound judgment when addressing people managing kidney failure at home.
• Self‑directed, organized, and capable of owning an end‑to‑end function in an early‑stage company.
• Experience in patient education, health content development, or community health.
• Health sciences background (e.g., MBBS, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related discipline).
