Head Teacher

About the role

The Head Teacher will lead the school in Ibadan, driving the institution’s mission and ensuring a high‑quality learning environment. This senior leadership role combines strategic planning, academic oversight, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Set vision and direction, develop strategic and annual improvement plans.
• Supervise teaching and learning, monitor curriculum delivery and assessment.
• Mentor and coach teachers, organise professional development programmes.
• Recruit, appraise and manage teaching and non‑teaching staff.
• Oversee student welfare, enforce discipline policies and promote attendance.
• Prepare and manage the school budget, ensure effective use of resources.
• Build strong relationships with parents, guardians and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with government education regulations and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in school leadership or teaching.
• A degree in Education or a related field.
