About the role

A school in Olodi-Apapa, Lagos is seeking a competent, proactive and results-driven Head of School to provide strong academic and administrative leadership. The school wants a Christ-centred educational leader who is passionate about children, committed to academic excellence and able to build a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and supervision of the school.
• Drive academic excellence and measurable improvement in pupils' learning outcomes.
• Supervise, appraise and develop teachers and other staff.
• Monitor curriculum delivery, lesson quality and assessment results.
• Ensure effective school administration, discipline and child safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with parents and address concerns proactively.
• Promote Christian values, godly character and a culture of excellence.
• Hold staff accountable for agreed targets and performance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: NCE.
• Relevant teaching and school leadership experience.
• High integrity, professionalism and a Christ-centred approach to education.
• Ability to lead proactively, take ownership and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
• Ability to monitor pupil performance and drive academic improvement.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
