About the role

The Head of School will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Standardlane School in Lagos. Reporting to the board, the role oversees teaching quality, student outcomes, and the efficient operation of the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teaching and administrative staff to ensure high standards of instruction and learning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor school policies, improvement plans, and curriculum initiatives.
• Manage school budgets, resources, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Oversee student discipline, welfare, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Track school performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 2–3 years of proven leadership experience in a school setting.
• Strong communication, people‑management, and decision‑making abilities.
• Sound knowledge of curriculum development and best educational practices.
