About the role
The Head of Office in Abuja will ensure the smooth operation of 3iS’s country office, supporting the Country Representative and overseeing administrative, financial, and compliance functions. This senior position plays a key role in aligning office activities with donor regulations and local government requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with 3iS policies and donor regulations across all support functions.
- Oversee auditing processes in coordination with the Country Representative and HQ.
- Act as hiring manager for recruitment, managing screening, testing, and interviews.
- Validate administrative documents such as staff timesheets, leave requests, consultant invoices, payrolls, and expenditure reports.
- Supervise procurement as Budget Holder, maintaining the procurement plan and liaising with finance and procurement focal points.
- Support budget monitoring and donor reporting by gathering and reviewing financial documentation.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, prepare briefing materials, and follow up on action points.
- Provide general administrative support to project teams and maintain systematic project documentation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing administrative, financial, and compliance functions within a non‑profit or humanitarian organization.
- Strong knowledge of donor regulations, local governmental requirements, and auditing processes.
- Experience in recruitment and HR administration, including screening and interview processes.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee procurement and budget monitoring.
- Excellent coordination skills for stakeholder engagement and project support.
