Head of Marketing (FMCG)

About the role

Global Linkers Limited, a leading HR services firm in Nigeria, is seeking a senior marketing leader to drive its FMCG portfolio. The Head of Marketing will shape strategy, launch new oral‑care, skincare and hair‑care products and expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business and revenue goals.
• Lead end‑to‑end product development and launch, from concept through commercialisation.
• Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, gaps, trends and new product opportunities.
• Define product positioning, value propositions, target markets and go‑to‑market plans.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Sales, Procurement and other functions to ensure successful launches.
• Manage brand strategies for oral‑care, skincare and hair‑care categories, driving awareness and growth.
• Design integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, retail and trade channels.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and consumer behaviour.
• Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring ROI and effective allocation.
• Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive marketing experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven track record in product development and lifecycle management.
• Experience taking products from concept to successful market launch.
• Strong knowledge of oral‑care, skincare and hair‑care products is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in brand management, go‑to‑market strategy and market expansion.
• Commercial acumen with measurable marketing and business results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively across R&D, Production, Sales, Finance and other functions.
