Head of Cream Cake Decorating

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic leader to head our cream cake decorating team. You will oversee the creation of high‑quality buttercream and whipped‑cream cakes, ensuring every order meets our standards of taste, design, and timeliness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the butter and whipped‑cream decorating team, managing workflow and performance.
• Plan daily production schedules to guarantee accurate and on‑time order completion.
• Maintain high‑quality standards for cake finishing, design, and presentation.
• Review custom cake designs and guide execution to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor inventory, ensuring availability and proper use of decorating materials and tools.
• Enforce strict hygiene, food‑safety, and cleanliness standards within the department.
• Introduce new designs, drive creativity, and improve team skills.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth production and order fulfilment.
• Handle quality issues, customer concerns, and urgent production needs.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in cake decorating.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to full compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
