Growth & Partnerships Lead

About the role

The Growth & Partnerships Lead will drive commercial expansion for a multi‑sector group operating in consulting, government advisory, energy, technology, manufacturing, investment banking and finance. Reporting to senior leadership, you will originate, develop and convert strategic relationships into sustainable business opportunities across public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage senior stakeholders in government, finance and technology to uncover client needs.
• Develop integrated solutions and high‑value mandates that span advisory, capital‑raising and technology deployment.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
• Maintain and grow strategic networks with multilateral organisations, development finance institutions and corporate decision‑makers.
• Prepare executive‑level proposals, presentations and investment pitch materials.
• Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Development, Public Policy or related field (master’s degree advantageous).
• 7–10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, investment banking, management consulting or government advisory.
• Proven track record of originating and closing B2B and B2G engagements, including advisory mandates and capital‑raising initiatives.
• Experience managing relationships with government institutions, multilateral organisations and financial institutions.
• Exposure to African and Middle‑Eastern markets and additional language skills (French, Portuguese or Arabic) are a plus.
