Growth Marketing Manager

About the role

Swoop, an African super‑app startup backed by leading investors, is seeking a hands‑on Growth Marketing Manager to drive user acquisition, retention and restaurant partnership growth in Lagos. You will own end‑to‑end campaigns across digital, field, and on‑ground channels, working closely with the Head of Growth and local teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise marketing campaigns across CRM, creators, paid social, OOH, on‑ground activations and promotions.
• Drive app installs, first orders, repeat orders, referrals and customer retention through fast‑paced, data‑driven initiatives.
• Support field activations in priority Lagos areas, managing ambassadors, promoters and local partners.
• Collaborate with restaurant partners to create offers, bundles, launches and co‑marketing campaigns.
• Craft and manage messaging across push notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, email and social media.
• Track performance metrics (sign‑ups, CAC, GMV, retention) and produce weekly insights.
• Gather feedback from customers, riders and restaurants to continuously improve campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2C or growth marketing, preferably at a startup, marketplace or consumer app.
• Proven ability to run multi‑channel campaigns from concept to reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring CAC, GMV and retention.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
