Graphics Design Intern

About the role

The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Abuja is seeking a Graphics Design Intern to support visual communication projects that promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across Nigeria. The internship is full‑time, on‑site for a period of three to six months, reporting directly to the National Information Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing themes, infographics, layouts and document covers.
• Develop visual elements such as colours, fonts and graphics for newsletters, brochures, banners, posters and booklets.
• Create graphic templates for reports and presentations.
• Prepare printing packages and layout files for publication production.
• Support visual communication initiatives for SDG campaigns, workshops and meetings.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for visual communication and United Nations development goals.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site for 3‑6 months.
• Reporting to the National Information Officer at UNIC Abuja.
