General Manager, Marketing and Sales

About the role

The General Manager will lead Skyvertise’s business in Nigeria from Lagos, overseeing marketing, sales and local delivery while reporting to the CEO in Dubai. The role is responsible for establishing the brand, winning clients and ensuring every drone light show is permitted, safe and profitable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the go‑to‑market plan for Nigeria, set pricing, revenue targets and manage the profit‑and‑loss account.
• Win show contracts, build and manage a sales pipeline, prepare proposals with the Dubai creative team and negotiate contracts.
• Launch and grow the Skyvertise brand through social media, PR, influencers and showcase shows, and build referral partnerships.
• Lead regulatory set‑up, obtain drone operation permits, security clearances and show‑specific approvals from Nigerian authorities.
• Recruit, lead and evaluate the Lagos sales, marketing and operations team, and submit monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field.
• At least 5 years of sales, marketing or business development experience, including 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in events, experiential marketing or advertising in Nigeria and strong network among local brands and agencies.
• Experience launching a new business or brand in Nigeria is an advantage.
