General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The General Manager leads DoubleTree by Hilton Asaba, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to deliver the brand’s signature warm hospitality. Reporting to Hilton corporate leadership, the GM is responsible for driving performance, guest satisfaction, and the strategic growth of the property in Nigeria’s Delta State commercial hub.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences that reflect DoubleTree’s standards.
• Manage revenue, budgeting, and cost‑control initiatives to meet financial targets.
• Lead capital projects, refurbishments and service upgrades while maintaining brand alignment.
• Set short‑ and long‑term strategic goals and make decisions that support the hotel’s and Hilton’s vision.
• Provide visionary leadership to the executive team and all staff, fostering Hilton’s values and a culture of passion and creativity.
• Conduct regular briefings with heads of departments and maintain strong relationships with owners, auditors and Hilton stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton and DoubleTree service standards, respond proactively to audits, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
