General Manager, Corporate Finance

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the Corporate Finance function. Working closely with the Executive Chairman, you will shape financing strategies, strengthen the company’s credit profile, and drive value‑creating investment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement corporate finance strategies to secure cost‑effective capital for short‑, medium‑ and long‑term plans.
• Lead treasury and capital‑raising activities, negotiating with banks, financial institutions and capital‑market participants.
• Develop a diversified mix of funding instruments and present data‑driven recommendations to the Board.
• Build and maintain strong local and international financial networks.
• Drive credit‑rating initiatives and engage with rating agencies to enhance credibility.
• Formulate investment strategies, dividend policies and initiatives that boost shareholder value.
• Collaborate with Business Operations and executive leadership to provide strategic financial guidance across the organization.

Required profile

• First degree in Finance, Management or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a related discipline, preferably from a foreign university.
• CFA certification is a plus.
• Broad experience across banking and other industries within finance functions.
• Strong strategic, analytical, forecasting and data‑analytics capabilities.
• Proven leadership and managerial competence with the ability to align stakeholders to strategic objectives.
