General Manager – Business Process & Finance Operations

About the role

The General Manager – Business Process & Finance Operations will lead finance and business‑process functions for a growing international services group in Nigeria. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and continuous process improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and delivery of financial and management reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and reporting standards.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, working‑capital management and financial planning activities.
• Establish and strengthen accounting systems, policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for finance and operational processes, including system integration and automation.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and ensure adherence to corporate‑governance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and develop finance and accounting teams, fostering a performance‑driven culture.
• Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, ANAN or equivalent).
• Proven senior‑level experience overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and business‑process improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership of finance teams and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
