Fundraising Officer – Full‑time (Hybrid)

About the role

The Fundraising Officer will join TosaadecWorld Foundation’s development team in Ibadan, working on a hybrid schedule that combines office and remote tasks. This full‑time position focuses on designing and executing fundraising strategies to secure resources for the foundation’s education, food security, water, energy and environmental programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with organisational priorities.
• Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners and grant‑making bodies.
• Prepare compelling proposals, impact reports, donor correspondence and other fundraising materials.
• Organise fundraising campaigns and events, handling logistics and donor communications.
• Maintain accurate donor records and monitor performance against fundraising targets.
• Collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Knowledge of philanthropy, donor engagement and nonprofit development.
• Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Professional writing skills for proposals and reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Business, Communications, Development Studies) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing or resource mobilisation in a nonprofit or humanitarian setting is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic experience with CRM or donor‑management systems.
