About the role

SAMORA CITADEL is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Teacher to join its campus in Owode, Ogun State, Nigeria. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson materials and deliver classes for primary or secondary learners.
• Assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback and track progress.
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior and support both academic and personal development of students.
• Participate in staff meetings, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to school events and activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Required profile

• Strong teaching and training abilities for diverse age groups.
• Solid foundation in lesson planning, setting clear objectives and organizing learning activities.
• Excellent communication skills with learners, parents, and staff.
• Relevant teaching certification or a degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous classroom experience, preferably in a primary or secondary setting.
• Ability to create an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to curriculum updates.
