Full Stack Development Instructor – Igbesa, Ogun

About the role

New Horizons Nigeria is seeking a Full Stack Development Instructor to lead hands‑on training for aspiring developers in Igbesa, Ogun. You will guide students through the entire software development lifecycle, from front‑end design to back‑end APIs and cloud deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instructor‑led training on full‑stack web technologies.
• Design practical labs, capstone projects and coding exercises.
• Mentor students on best coding practices, debugging, version control and portfolio building.
• Assess progress through assignments, quizzes and practical exams.
• Keep curriculum up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging tools.
• Maintain training facilities and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Research and recommend learning systems and specific training modules.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication, presentation and organizational abilities.
• Post‑NYSC teaching experience or prior training role is an advantage.
• Graphics skills (Photoshop or CorelDraw) and industry certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a plus.
