Frontend Engineer (Angular) – Financial Tech

About the role

Kredete is looking for a Frontend Engineer specialized in Angular to build and maintain user‑facing interfaces for high‑impact financial applications. You will work closely with product designers and backend engineers to deliver responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences for users across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable frontend features for existing and new products.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high‑quality, responsive web interfaces.
• Design and implement frontend architecture and state management for complex data flows.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and optimise data fetching for performance.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and with designers on UX implementation.
• Identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring strong Core Web Vitals across devices.
• Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, documentation, and best practices.
• Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, Playwright) to guarantee reliability in financial transactions.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Angular (v19+) in large‑scale applications.
• Proficiency with Angular Signals and NgRx Signal Store for state management.
• Experience working in monorepo environments (e.g., Nx) with shared libraries.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Tailwind CSS and Angular Material for consistent UI.
