Front Office Manager – Hospitality

About the role

Rekopel Resources Ltd is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead its front desk operations in Lagos. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth, efficient front office processes.

Key responsibilities

• Train, cross‑train and retrain front office staff; coordinate with all hotel departments.
• Conduct regular front office meetings, manage cash handling, and verify deposits per shift.
• Maintain accurate room status information and resolve guest issues promptly and courteously.
• Ensure compliance with legal lodging requirements and manage guest expectations.
• Supervise the front office team, create work schedules, and oversee reservation and guest service activities.
• Inspect vacant rooms prepared by housekeeping to meet hotel standards.
• Prepare monthly reports and budgets for front office operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front office or hotel reception management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle guest complaints effectively.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management software.
