Food Safety Consultant

About the role

The Food Safety Consultant will design, initiate and implement Boecker® food safety systems for clients, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with international standards. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering audits, training and continuous support to improve food safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, initiate and implement safe food systems such as ISO 22000, HACCP, QPA, GMP and kitchen audits.
• Perform internal audits for ISO clients prior to external certification audits.
• Develop customized food safety manuals (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.) for each client.
• Conduct courtesy calls, site visits and kitchen audits, preparing gap‑analysis reports.
• Discuss findings with client representatives, propose recommendations and set improvement timelines.
• Provide ongoing information and support to client personnel.
• Organize and deliver advanced Boecker® food safety training programs, manage evaluation and follow‑up.
• Handle exam processes and issue certificates to successful participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Food Sciences, Environmental Health, Nutrition or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, training or a related discipline.
• FSSC 22000 V6 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proven experience conducting food safety training and internal audits.
• Background in a food consulting firm.
