Fleet Officer

About the role

The Fleet Officer will manage the daily availability and deployment of riders, drivers and vehicles, ensuring efficient delivery operations and strong partner relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily availability and deployment of riders, drivers and vehicles based on operational needs.
• Source, onboard and maintain relationships with third‑party delivery and fleet partners.
• Work with the Order Management team to assign delivery partners according to location, capacity and delivery requirements.
• Monitor fleet utilisation, trip progress and partner performance, escalating issues promptly.
• Oversee inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of company‑assigned vehicles.
• Investigate and report accidents, breakdowns and other fleet‑related incidents.
• Reconcile completed trips and records to ensure timely payment to partners.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet availability, utilisation, performance and incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in fleet coordination, transport operations, dispatch or logistics.
• Strong understanding of third‑party fleet management and asset‑light logistics models.
• Experience sourcing, onboarding and managing riders, drivers or vehicle owners.
• Knowledge of vehicle documentation, road safety, maintenance processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with fleet or logistics management platforms.
