Financial Associate (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring for a client as a Finance Specialist on a contract basis. The remote position involves managing financial records, reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while supporting day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and compliant manner.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Required profile

• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards (preferred).
