Finance Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Finance Operations Supervisor is a senior delivery role that sits between analysts and the Managing Principal. Working on a hybrid schedule in Abuja, you will oversee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting for multiple client businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the quality checkpoint by reviewing management accounts, reports, and reconciliations before they reach client leadership.
• Maintain reporting standards and ensure monthly cadence across all assigned clients.
• Oversee month‑end close, financial controls, statutory and tax compliance, and audit readiness.
• Develop and supervise analysts, associates, and client accounting teams, providing guidance and raising work quality.
• Support advisory functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Progress toward the Finance Operations Manager role by taking on sign‑off authority and full client relationship ownership.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in accounting, audit, or finance operations.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounts, and month‑end processes.
• Solid grounding in reconciliations, financial controls, and process review.
• Working knowledge of Nigerian statutory and tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, company income tax) and audit preparation.
