Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will manage end‑to‑end financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and proper documentation across the organization. This role supports operational efficiency, cost control and financial governance within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full payment and approval workflow from request initiation to disbursement.
• Review payment requests for compliance with budgets, contracts and company policies.
• Track cash flow movements and maintain audit trails.
• Liaise with banks, Procurement and Operations to resolve bottlenecks.
• Support budget implementation by monitoring expenses against approved budgets.
• Prepare periodic reports on payment cycles, turnaround time and cash flow status.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements, including automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance operations, preferably in energy, oil & gas or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of financial controls, budgeting and cash flow management.
