Finance Officer

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare and diagnostics organization in Lagos, is looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Officer to support financial operations and ensure sound financial management across the company. The role involves preparing reports, managing cash flow, and providing analysis to aid strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, recommend liquidity improvement strategies and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure statutory compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal control processes and support audit activities.
• Identify and drive finance process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to departmental managers and support procurement and cost‑management efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ICAN qualification (or advanced stage) – ACCA or ANAN is a plus.
• 2–4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
