Finance Manager

About the role
The College of Insurance and Financial Management is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting budgeting and reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, cash books, and general ledger postings.
- Manage fixed assets and ensure proper documentation.
- Process statutory payments such as Withholding Tax promptly.
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and analyse budget performance.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and audit processes.
- Generate financial reports, dashboards, and templates.
- Provide secretariat support to the Finance Committee as assigned.
- Drive process improvements in collaboration with the Head of Finance.
- Perform any other duties within the scope of the role.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of HND.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar finance role.
