Field Service Engineer - Rotary Blowing Machine

About the role

Sidel is seeking a self‑motivated Field Service Engineer to install, start‑up and commission high‑speed PET rotary blowing machines at customer sites worldwide. The role involves delivering technical assistance, training and after‑sales support to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, qualify, test and commission rotary blowing equipment according to technical, contractual and safety specifications.
• Operate mechanical systems and HMI, perform troubleshooting following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Execute electrical tasks such as cable wiring and handle equipment non‑conformities.
• Prepare job progress charts, technical reports and document after‑sales opportunities.
• Coach junior colleagues on on‑site behavior, technical activities and reporting.
• Report to the Installation Site Manager and ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience with high‑speed PET rotary blowing machines.
• Graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% domestically and internationally.
• Experience in beverage can or glass sectors is a plus.
