About the role
The F&B Service Expert will create memorable dining experiences for guests at the Lagos Marriott Hotel. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service, from setting tables to delivering food and drinks.
Key responsibilities
- Set, clear and maintain tables and dining areas in a clean, organized manner.
- Communicate guest orders accurately to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery.
- Interact with guests courteously, answer basic menu questions and address service requests.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Handle light lifting tasks (up to 25 kg unassisted, 50 kg with assistance) and move supplies as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk and lift moderate weights throughout the shift.
- Basic reading of menus and ability to verify information visually.
- Clear communication and guest interaction skills.
