Fashion/Tailoring Assistant – Abuja

About the role

We are looking for a Fashion/Tailoring Assistant to join our workshop in Abuja. The successful candidate will support senior tailors and designers in creating high-quality garments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior tailors and designers with dressmaking, garment construction and finishing.
• Prepare fabrics, cut patterns and set up sewing stations.
• Take accurate client measurements, perform fittings and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle simple customer inquiries and provide basic style guidance.
• Organise workstations, maintain appointment schedules and keep the workshop tidy.

Required profile

• Strong dressmaking and tailoring abilities with basic pattern work.
• Good measurement and fitting skills, able to perform alterations.
• Professional communication and customer-service orientation.
• Attention to detail, colour and fabric awareness, and a keen eye for quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Abuja, collaborate in a team and manage time in a busy environment.
