Farm Tractor Operator

About the role

Agbeyewa Farms is seeking a reliable and experienced Farm Tractor Operator to join its team in Ado‑Ekiti, Nigeria. The role involves operating tractors and a variety of implements across diverse farm terrains while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tractors with implements such as ploughs, harrows, boom sprayers and cassava planters.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on tractors and attachments.
• Maintain tractors, implements and related hydraulic systems.
• Drive farm trucks, prepare fields for trials and perform routine site maintenance.
• Report faults and concerns to the Farm Manager and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum O’Level certificate; preferably OND in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience operating tractors on a large commercial farm.
• Strong attention to detail, good coordination and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Relevant driver’s licence.
