Farm Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Farm Assistant to support daily operations on our pig farm in Delta, Marina. The role involves hands‑on work with livestock, maintaining facilities, and assisting with breeding and health tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Feed pigs according to schedules and nutritional guidelines.
• Clean and maintain pig pens, feeding areas, and farm facilities.
• Monitor pig health and behavior, reporting any signs of illness or injury.
• Assist with breeding, farrowing, weaning, vaccination, and medication activities.
• Handle movement, sorting, and handling of pigs as needed.
• Support loading and unloading of feed, livestock, and farm supplies.
• Operate and maintain basic farm tools and equipment safely.
• Follow all farm safety procedures and management instructions.
• Perform other farm‑related duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum Primary School Certificate or SSCE qualification.
• Previous experience in pig farming, livestock management, or agriculture is an advantage.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors.
• Willingness to work around livestock and in farm environments.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Honest, responsible, and hardworking.
