Facility Manager

About the role

The College of Insurance and Financial Management is seeking a proactive Facility Manager to oversee the upkeep of its campuses in Abeokuta and Marina. You will ensure that all physical spaces operate smoothly, safely, and reflect the institution’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise all physical spaces, including offices, halls, accommodations, and storage areas.
• Ensure efficient operation of utilities and infrastructure such as electricity, water, HVAC, and lighting.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
• Guarantee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Create and enforce safety procedures and emergency response plans.
• Perform safety audits and risk assessments, maintaining detailed records.
• Manage relationships with service providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
• Control expenses and introduce cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: HND.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar facility management role.
