Facility Cleaning Manager

About the role

The Cleaning Manager will report to top management and lead the cleaning operations across facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee adherence to cleaning policies, procedures and standards.
• Train and supervise cleaning staff, monitoring performance and behavior.
• Manage cleaning supplies, equipment inventory and conduct quality assurance checks.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching and initiate disciplinary actions when needed.
• Investigate customer complaints on sanitation and resolve them promptly.
• Liaise with external contractors and recommend purchases of supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a cleaning manager with supervisory duties.
• Experience supervising multi‑location sites is an advantage.
• Highly organized with strong coaching and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning materials and equipment for various cleaning levels.
• Understanding of basic safety procedures in cleaning operations.
