Fabrication Technician

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Fabrication Technician to join Tri‑P Tech’s workshop. The role supports the production of metal enclosures and structures used in lithium‑battery systems, power products and energy‑storage solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with production, QA/QC and assembly teams to deliver high‑quality components on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out metal fabrication tasks for product enclosures and related structures.
• Cut, grind, drill, dress, and prepare metal parts for assembly and finishing.
• Interpret basic fabrication instructions, drawings, measurements, and job requirements.
• Support enclosure preparation before priming, painting, and final assembly.
• Use workshop tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Follow approved job cards, BOMs, and production instructions.
• Report material shortages, tool issues, defects, and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication workspace.
• Collaborate with Production, EMU, QA/QC, and Assembly teams to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Practical experience in metal fabrication or related workshop work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work within approved processes.
• Strong attention to detail and good safety awareness.
• Willingness to use personal protective equipment properly.
• Team‑oriented mindset with clear communication of progress.

Required skills

• Metal fabrication techniques (cutting, grinding, drilling, dressing).
• Proficiency with grinders, drills, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
• Understanding of measurement accuracy and finishing quality.
• Basic welding experience (advantageous).
