Experienced Tax Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an Experienced Tax Auditor to join our team in Kano State. The role involves leading complex tax engagements and ensuring compliance with Nigerian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute tax audits for corporate and individual clients.
• Handle tax disputes, investigations and liaise with tax authorities.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Lead and mentor audit teams throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Stay updated on changes to Personal Income Tax (PIT), PAYE and Withholding Tax (WHT) regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA or CITN.
• Minimum 15 years of proven experience in tax auditing.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and state tax requirements.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
