Event Planner / Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Event Planner and Community Manager to design, execute, and evaluate 3–5 local events in Nigeria between Q2 and Q4 2025. You will act as the bridge between our brand, influencers, community leaders, and stakeholders, ensuring each event delivers maximum impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage 3–5 local events from concept to post‑event analysis.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with influencers, community leaders and relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and on‑site execution to guarantee event quality.
• Collect, analyse and report event data, providing actionable improvement recommendations.
• Maintain on‑site support in Nigeria while collaborating with remote teams.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in event planning and offline marketing.
• Strong organizational, coordination and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Nigerian local culture and market.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Experience working in Kenya or Nigeria and an existing local network is a plus.

• Proficiency with Eventbrite.
• Proficiency with Trello.
