Employee Shared Service Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employee Shared Service Manager to lead our HR Operations team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality HR administrative services and ensuring a seamless employee experience across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Employee Shared Services/HR Operations team, setting service‑level agreements and monitoring performance.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR administrative services, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, confirmations and exits.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and HRIS data.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave, benefits and related processes.
• Develop and continuously improve HR service procedures, workflows and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations and data‑protection requirements.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, IT and other functions to resolve employee issues.
• Coach, develop and evaluate members of the Shared Services team.
• Support HR audits and drive service‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a managerial role within HR operations, shared services or administration.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, payroll, benefits, leave and attendance.
• Proven ability to manage HRIS platforms and ensure data accuracy.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
