Embedded Firmware & BMC Specialist

About the role

Centralelite Services is seeking an Embedded Firmware & BMC Specialist to work on Rockchip RK3588 based platforms. You will be responsible for configuring, flashing, and maintaining firmware across a 48‑slot chassis, ensuring reliable boot and security functions.

Key responsibilities

• Modify OpenBMC device‑tree (.dts) files to map GPIO, SPI and UART paths for the chassis backplane.
• Execute eFuse programming to fuse ED25519 public‑key hashes into OTP memory using JTAG interfaces.
• Operate the parallel out‑of‑band node flashing engine for simultaneous image deployment to all 48 nodes.
• Configure and validate the automated A/B partition watchdog and boot‑recovery chain.
• Monitor TSADC thermal sensor data and report it through the BMC management interface.
• Maintain version‑controlled firmware repositories with clear change documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on embedded systems or firmware engineering experience.
• Practical experience with Linux kernel‑level development, device‑tree files, kernel modules or driver compilation.
• Demonstrated ability to use JTAG/SWD hardware debugging interfaces.
• Strong programming competence in C at the embedded/systems level.
